Install the newer patch. It may not help but it will be very useful. Next, find any firewall program (zonealarm is a common culprit), and manually allow WA connection to the internet. If you can't do this, try turning them off.

if you have the trymedia version of the game then you wont be able to go above v3.5b2

o yeh and i have given wa access rights to the internet and tried that, and also tried running it with ZA disabled.

thanks.

OK. When WA crashes, try clicking around a bit. If something odd happens (eg a checkbox or something becomes visible) then it's the work of an antivirus/firewall program.

i installed the v3.6.26.5. all fine there. The game still works offline but when i go to click on the uk connection point on wormnet it again crashes.

I left it for a while tried clicking arround, nothing happened so its not an issue with ZA or anything.

any ideas?
