Yeah well, bah. This seems to be the only way to get over my artist block lately, so bleh. Just some sketchy stuff while I get used to this digital painting malarkey.

For all my old work, from waaaaay back, head here. (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=12542&highlight=Traxada%27s+fashioned)

Although its nice to see a lot of old faces still here, keep rocking fella's.

In fairness, I'd be all in agreeance and everything if he came back within the month... But two or so years? I say that's about right in the forum leave-and-return statute of limitations.

Still, amazing art as always, and nice to see the return of yers...

I wouldn't be surprised if it was all this kind of stuff which made Trax feel he had to leave.

You know, smartarses, senior wannabes, more spam than crit, that sort of crap.

Trax, it's good to see you back. I don't remember you leaving (maybe I'd scarpered first) so I was disappointed not to see you when I came back. I've always loved your art; it's so unique and stylised and so very you. I've more or less given up on fan art and tried to apply my skills elsewhere but perhaps if you stick around you'll inspire me again.

Welcome home and good work on the picture. I think the right hand looks awesome - I wish I had the ability to manipulate hands like that. Mine are a bit rubbish. ;)

Vader
7 Feb 2007, 08:23
To do that you wright in the first post "ITT we do not discuss anything else except my art"

I'm not entirely sure what you mean but I'm assuming it's something like "To get more crit than SPAM you have to specify that the thread is for fan art comments" which is ridiculous. Fan art threads are not for random chit-chat. They are for art by fans and the comments thereof. I thought that was fairly heavily implied, to be honest.

Paul.Power

All crit and no spam makes Jack a dull boy.

Vader
7 Feb 2007, 08:40
I agree and I'm not trying to advocate an all crit forum, I'm simply suggesting that when the spam outweighs the crit it can frustrate the artist. It gets to the stage where people are having a conversation in your thread and ignoring your art. The thread becomes an art-laced discussion. That makes me sad.

Paul.Power
7 Feb 2007, 08:59

I'M NOT QUITE SURE HOW TO PHRASE THIS WITHOUT SOMEONE BEING IRRITATING AND FINDING A LOOPHOLE, BUT USE YOUR COMMON SENSE. AS FUN AS GOING OFF TOPIC IS, I'M SURE NO-ONE WANTS TRAX LEAVING AGAIN BECAUSE WE'VE BEEN A BUNCH OF IDIOTS IN HIS NEW THREAD
