The OD Meet thread got me thinking about this. Where do you folks reside? It would perhaps be useful in establishing locations for future OD meets. I live in Michigan, that delightful state also known as the hideous zit on the forehead of America.

Nah, Ohio is the butt hole, if anything. It's nothing but crap everywhere.

And, Ohio.:(

And, Ohio.:(Mostly going by Bill Bryson's description as "the state that killed Lake Eyrie"

Brighton & Hove.

I doubt I'll be doing any meet-ups, though, as I'd be quite out of place... I imagine.

FutureWorm, I have relatives in Michigan. Commerce Township or something... I dunno.

I saw the Pistons play the Bulls in Detroit, though. It were right ace and no mistake.

Graz is the capital of Styria, the most wooded federal state in Austria.

Does anyone live in a desert? Or in the jungle?

Chester, England. Though I actually live in Penymynydd, a small village in North Wales just over the border.

You wouldn't be that out of place, Stef. You'd have me to sidle up against. Plus, hopefully we'll be doing something interesting event-wise. You could have some valuable input there.

EDIT: ****ing Crappr maps is too much ****ing bother. ******* idiots don't know how to code anything for ****.

We've got more than a couple of trees here in PA, too. I don't really remember who he was, but the Penn is after this guy William Penn, who was going to name the state just Sylvania, which basically means woodlands, but all of his buddies made him stop being so modest and name it Pennsylvania. I have a friend near there. I hear it's lovely and warm.

I'm in Leeds, as you all well know. It's the most wooded city in Leeds.

Clayton West, as small village near Huddersfield, England. 15-20 minutes drive from T17 HQ.

It looks like this:

Golcar (pronounced "goh-cah" - the L is silent), also a village in huddersfield but closer to the centre than Clayton West. It's nice out there Luther, my mum used to live in Denby Dale just down the road ;).

That statement could be either genuine or sarcastic.
And it is confusing me.

I believe their exact words were "you know something's a bit wrong when there are ice rinks carved out on the Mississippi".

I live in the city of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. It says that right after "Location:", at the time of writing this post, though.
