High post counts do not mean coolness. That's a lie. If two members who have been around for 5 years have the post counts: 650 and 9802 then clearly it's much more of a privilage to have the guy with the low post count reply to your thread. His posts would be rarer, and worth much more.

That doesn't include posts within OD, though. I have 989 posts outside, but I am sure that is a small fraction compared to my inside-OD posts.

Everything more than 17 posts is a total waste of lifetime.

With 17 posts you could easily ask all the questions that haven't been asked before and answer someone else's unasked questions. The search function should do the rest. :rolleyes:

That makes no sense whatsoever. I have made 513 posts in the 100% Off-Topic Thread alone. There is no way that I have only posted 476 other times. Hell, when postcounts were disabled, I was well over 700.
