I've installed Vista OS and I already downloaded the .exe on trip's website.

I still cant run it correctly tho, it runs, but i can't minimize. What sux considering im always minimizing... I was wondering id there's an official patch/update going on on T17.

there is an official updae coming soon however im not sure about vista compatability... the reason most likely for why trips patch disables alt tab is because that WILL crash w:a under vista.

Windows Vista compatibility is planned only for 4.0 for now... in case one of us (the devs) will get a copy of Vista and a simple fix is possible, it might be fixed in a 3.x beta update.

Just to let you know...well I'm sure you know already, but Vista has a 30-day trial that would help in you fixing the bug!

Also, I'm sure I saw something about an "infamous bug" being fixed to do with minimising in the next patch, is this not the same thing? I've had no minimising problems in XP, but in Vista I can only minimise in-game otherwise it won't restore...

It would probably take me at least two weeks to download that trial...

I'll just wait until I'll be able to get a licensed version.

Anyhoos, I kinda hope Vista compatibillity will come out a bit sooner than 4.0, I'm planning on getting it when buying a new comp, probably within a year or so.
Not that it would keep me from playing WA, but having a 2nd comp (or even worse: dual boot) just to be able to play WA wouldnt be my 1st choice.

Well, without tripz patch i wouldnt be able to play WA on vista. Despite the bugs.

I too eagerly await a Vista fix as I am running Ultimate right now.

Trippenz has, but I'm not aware of how successful he was. He announced an upcoming patch for W:A on Vista-64, but I'm not sure what exactly would that patch be doing.
