View Full Version : A few odd problems (mostly TeamEd)

I recently downloaded a very big extra pack for WA, and noticed that (due to a high amount of graves/flags) that when I edit teams, it gets cut off (as in, after only a few of the graves the list ends).

I was told to use Annelid's TeamEd to be able to see/choose all the graves and flags, and while this does work, I've noticed that

1) If I save a custom speech in this program, WA uses the default
2) If I do not use a custom victory song, it gets reset to the canadian anthem.

Also, it will randomly (if I open it, change something and leave) reset all graves to Grave 1 and also reset flags/victory song.

I don't know why this is, but it is quite a nuisance. I'm using latest WA and the (I assume latest) version of this program (1.0.0.3 I believe).

If more info is needed please ask...thanks for helping. I just want my custom graves/speech/fanfare etc. for my teams!

theres a limitof something like 127 or 255 for graves etc. if you have more then the max limit strange things will occur.

If you select an animated grave, you are forced to use the default soundbank. Is this a bug in teamEd or a side effect of doing something that was never meant to be allowed?

edit: Maybe it was the fanfare that was forced to default, it's been a long time since I used an animated grave.

TeamEd doesn't even work for me. It show runtime errors when loading the team file, even though I've already got the VB files. And yes I have downloaded the files that are on WAHelp

I used an animated grave for my WWP team and I could still use a different speech bank (I used Team17 Test).

I think it does it to either. However, it does this to EVERY team, not just the one I change.

Now the only two reasons I really need the TeamEd is for the animated graves and accessing more flags/graves. I can do without the animated graves, or perhaps simply use it on just one team, but it's a shame that I cannot access the non-animated graves/flags that I got in the PowerPack.

Anyone know if this limit will be removed in WA 4.0? That would be sweet...

installing this generally solves most runtime errors its 5.7mb in size.

Seperate the graves into groups of 127 or whatever the limit is, you only need the graves that you regularly use. I still think the limit should be increased, how hard could it be?

it was increased ages ago in private beta's.

Oh cool, I can wait as long as I have to; it'd be nice to see all the graves/flags.

For now I guess I'll do the grouping thing, without TeamEd all I miss out on are animated graves, which is fine, since I only use that for one team (which for whatever reason doesn't have the flag/speech/fanfare reset).

Thanks for the lib. files.

Edit: Oh, I noticed the cheat features. I screwed around with them (to see the effects), and while I think it's pretty nifty (albeit cheap) to edit your deathmatch, training and mission scores to insane possibilities, I noticed that my rank percentage went from 79% to only 85%. Is this a side effect of 'hacking' the file, or yet another TeamEd error?

1) If I save a custom speech in this program, WA uses the default
2) If I do not use a custom victory song, it gets reset to the canadian anthem. This sounds like a bug in TeamEd. In the team format, there is a boolean value for whether a sound bank / fanfare is custom (=0) or on-CD (=1). TeamEd probably doesn't recognize or update that value.

Hm..that would make sense. I've used a standard speech bank since it is the only way to allow an animated grave. I assume that the 85% is a side effect too, or how does that work?

I downloaded this, but I'm still getting runtime errors. Any ideas?

You need comctl32.ocx in your system32 folder, and VB runtimes package installed. If it doesn't work beyond this, that is certainly weird.

I've done both of these aswell. I already had the comctl32.ocx file and just reinstalled the VB Runtimes just to make sure. The Libraryfiles.exe thing hasnt done anything either.

The specific error thats comming up is: "Run Time error 76 - path not found" when I try to open/import a team file.

BTW I've tried this on 2 computers, so I'm thinking it might be my WA install...

Make sure you're in C:\Team17\Worms Armageddon\User\Teams (I think, whatever the default is). Then move your TeamEd there. and click "Load Default WA Team file." Should work...

If your team file is corrupt, you will continually get this error, by the way.
