Check nanacide.com/wahelp. You'll find there everything you need about setting up your router.

nope. That's WA. WWP's port is 6677, not 6667.

You do not need to open port 6677 to host in wwp, nor do you need to open port 6667 to host in w:a. Therefore, nanacide.com/wahelp is applicable for both games.

You're thinking wrong. Think a bit more about it.

I forwarded port 17011 on TCP and UDP (is UDP needed?) and I can host on both WA and WWP.

Some players have reported that they can't host without 17011 UDP.
I personally don't need to open it.

Franpa, you do not have my permission to speak for me. Only Seita has my permission to do this. You should always listen to Seita.

The only port difference between W:A and WWP is that W:A uses port 6667 to connect to IRC while WWP uses port 6677 to do this. These ports do not need to be opened to host a game. Ports 17010 and 17012 are used for hosting LAN games. You do not need to open these ports to host a LAN game because LAN games are done on a local connection.

The only port you need to open to host is port 17011, which nanacide teaches you how to open. Therefore, nanacide is applicable to both W:A and WWP.
