anyone got any idea what weapons they will pack into their D/L-able content?

No weapons. The content packs will most likely be sounds, picture packs, themes and other things that can be updated without changing the game engine.

You'll be able to download a concrete donkey screensaver. So after you've let your game sit for awhile, the big statue comes crashind down on your stuff, destroying it, sending chunks of it flying everywhere.

Honestly though, I could see map textures as downloadable, more single player maps, and the usual pix and themes. I'd love to see weapons, but how likely is that?

Near zero.

The most likely things are additional speechbanks (the comedy ones and languages that were not included) and extra maps and missions.
The game is very similar to WOW, so I guess it's only the same 5 landscape themes in the base game.
Maybe also extra fanfares, graves and flags.

i actually asked spadge about that in another thread. he hinted that there could be a new landscape themes released. by the way, the game will only come with 3 landscapes. you'll have to download the two of the other old ones.

No in-game compromises, it's purely limited the amount of level themes and audio we could include.

that was my main worry that their stupid 50mb limit would mess things up, good to hear that when the extra themes etc. come out it will be the game you wanted it to be.
