Nope. This is the one on PC before Armageddon.

Worms: Armageddon is the 360 one if I remember correctly.
Yeah, I miss the weapon editor too. :p

You remember all kinds of wrong. Worms:Armageddon was a PC game. Fancy you not knowing that. It was released on a clutch of other formats, but it was released in 1997 so it's pretty unlikely to be an Xbox 360 game, don't you think?

The XBLA game is, as far as I'm aware, simply called "Worms", and looks to be pretty similar to WOW on the PSP.

I thought it was a port or an upgrade of W:A with Live gameplay, for some reason.

1997 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worms_(computer_game)), and that's what it says on my case :)

W2 was 1997. WA was released on PC CD-ROM in the UK in 1998, and on all other formats in most other territories in 1999.

I'm like a bloody encyclopedia of Team 17 knowledge, me.

So who are we supposed to trust here, an encyclopedia anyone can edit or the biggest fan of Team 17 who contacts T17's staff quite often and has a huge T17-supported fansite?
...
Yeah. :p

Although this thread is in the subforum for Worms 2, which was released in 1997, W:A has been released in 1998.
My first reply was to AT's second post where he wrongly dated W:A's release to 1997.

And Regulator is talking about his W2 case. He doesn't even have WA, I think! Blasphemation.

Ah, I did indeed think AT/Bonz were talking about W2!
Sorry for the confusion :)

And KRD, I do, I do!
I just can't play it, and for no good reason. (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=30145) :(

The Xbox Live Arcade Worms can't be Armageddon. So many weapons can be seen to be missing, if you check the screenshots available online. In addition, the menu's far more streamlined than Arma's version. Though, it looks like we'll need to await the official announcement to see what we'll have to look forward to.

That's probably because it isn't Worms Armageddon. I haven't seen a single comment anywhere that mentions it was ever going to be a direct port of Worms Armageddon.

Yup, I think I mentioned that point in my first sentence, but Iguana posted just above that he/she believed it was to be. I sought to point out how that could be proven to be wrong, from the information that's out there.

The last time I looked up any Worms 360 info was in a "W:A for Xbox Live" thread a ages ago, and I didn't look into it much since I don't own a 360. Sorry for causing all the confusion.
