Hello all, just wanted to say I have enjoyed every game in the worms series so far, but one thing that is annoying me with worms 4 is the customisation options, we seem spoilt for choice.
Now that we have so many options available, it makes it difficult to match them up, e.g. you can have fully kitted-out pirate worms, but you cannot find a voice-set that is suitably piratey.

So my question is, can you import sound sets from other games (such as Worms 3D) into Worms 4, or even make your own?

Sorry, I don't think it's possible. :(

If you can make own soundbanks for wa and wwp, why not W4M ? Though I dont know how..

there are some rather buggy and non-user-friendly tools that will let you replace audio samples in some of the speech banks. you can use audio from w3d or record your own, but there are some limitations. most importantly, nobody on-line will hear your edited speech banks. they will hear the audio that that particular speech bank had originally. for more info try the fan-stuff section on dream17 (http://www.dream17.co.uk) forums. also, site for the cobras clan (http://www.cobras.x10hosting.com) had some links.

theoretically, you should be able to, but there can be issues with textures and entity objects.

Veeeery easy. The texture will MTL be all wrong, but it will play fine. I've done it myself a few times.

1) Fint the map you want to copy in Worms3d\data\maps
2) Press Ctrl+c on it.
3) Go to worms4\data\maps and rename a map you don't want (eg Resubmission) to something different eg resubmission_backup.xan
4) Press ctrl+v to paste the W3D map, and rename it to in this case resubmission.xan (I think that's what it's called). (if you can't see the .xom bit that is already there, you NEED to enable extensions in folder options). I know the extensions are different, but the file format is exactly the same.
5) Start the game, and select the map that you replaced. (In this case resubmission). Play the game, and you'll be playing on the W3D map, although it will probably have a glitched out texture. Ah well.
