As some of the more technical users out there may know, the WWP Frontend is based on the archaic WA Frontend code, which suffers from the slow frontend issue on my gfx card. This issue still seems to be in WWP. The frontend is really SLOW!

Can someone please fix the frontend? The game is almost unplayable!

no ones looking at it because wwp is pretty much w:a but with a) more bugs b) less updated... the wormpot modes as far as i know are being merged into w:a aswell as possibly some other stuff... thus eliminating the need for wwp in its entirety.

So I have bought a product that is faulty, and Team17 cant be bothered to do anything about this broken product, which is still under warrantly.

If Team17 did NOT support WWP, then they would NOT make the conversion patch (which I will NOT be installing since I do not play on WormNET 2), since they are, that means they have some support, and this problem should be fixed.

im pretty sure wwp only has limited support in that theres these forums.... aside from that they kinda have left this game because all it is now is w:a but older and most likely harder then w:a for updating... since w:a is gaining the same features of wwp it is kinda a sensible thing to drop support for an arch ache product... because there would be no point in playing wwp UNLESS you cant get a copy of w:a which anyone can get via the team17 online shop.

i personally am pretty sure they'd stop selling wwp once the merge of features is complete.

Team17, the developer, warrants you nothing. It's the publisher who does.

The original publisher have long gone bankrupt and have been bought up by others who care even less.
The budget & re-release publisher probably don't care either.

Nothing lasts forever.

Team17 did support WWP, but no longer do, and since then the evil graphics drivers came out.

Well, i should be greatfull for one thing, the game actually runs.

Better slow then not working =)
