How was it for you?

This year's been quite uneventful for me and as such I don't think it's got much better or worse.

I can't really remember much of it, since it went too quickly. That's bad, isn't it?

Definately bad.

Landed a good job. Met some fun people. Been single for basically all of it, granted, but that's not to say I've been lonely either. I'm not complaining at all. Good year, fairly.

During this year there has been major changes for me. I've gotten a deaper understanding of life, relationships and other things. Hell, this was the year I graduated from high school. Yeah, some pretty crappy things happend, but for once some really good things happend too. So, good year for me.:)

I'm saying bad. Not because it was a bad year but because I expect next year to be so much better.

Well, I graduated from Cambridge - a third, but at least I passed - and I got on to my current course. RealVG got founded, which has been good fun. My laptop Geoff died, but I got a replacement.

My best friend has been in Austria for a lot of the last few months, which has been a bit of a shame, but there we go. I visited a Uni friend in the Netherlands, and he visited me in Wales, which was fun. General stuff really.

Not one of my best years - probably have to look back to 2001/2002 for that - but pretty decent.

What's so shameful about being in Austria?
You can have one hell of an average time here! :p

Pretty decent.

Certainly no 2004 by any means in terms of awfulness.

I'm gonna have to summarize with a heartfelt "Meh."

I quite liked last year, I left school and joined college, overall had a good time. It's this year where I'm going to have to start looking for a job or uni that I'm dreading.

I got a brand stinkin' new computer within the last few days that has been an absolute godsend in terms of price and functionality. I'd say that alone manages to hike the status up to "good".

Average. At first it was bad, but then it spruced up right at the last minute.

Killer year. I'm into my last semester of high school and enjoying every second of it.

Finished uni with a 2:1,
Landed a good job,
Moved out of my god-awefull home-town,
Part of the RealVG team,
MapGen popularity on the rise,
Managed to get a Wii two days arfter launch without pre-ordering....

Pretty damn good over-all.... Not something you'll hear me say again.

This year seemed to have a lot of death in it.
My cat...
My chemistry teacher...
Two kids at my school...

This year just... felt really bad to me.

Next year, however, will be wonderful. I'll graduate, I'll go to an art college and learn how to animate properly, Spore and Super Smash Bros. Brawl come out...
Woo.

If we're lucky and they don't get pushed back to '08/'09. :p

Hard to say what this year has in store for me. I really have just about no idea.

What I do know is that I'm pretty unlikely to survive another year at my current job. Whether I quit or end up getting myself fired is anybody's guess, but I'm dangerously close to a something's-gotta-give point.

2006 was a mixed bag. It ended on a wonderfully high note, but before that it was terrible. Not a happy year at all. I'm glad to see the back of it.

Just remember that voluntarily leaving looks a fair bit better on your resume.

Bad: weather, health (having skin allergies meant I managed to poison myself with deodorant a couple of times, took most of 2006 to get over it)

Good: saw some good bands play, money, November & December, wasting time playing table tennis at work
