Re-install the game

Reinstalling may not be the solution to everything. While I won't say it won't help you, first make sure that both you and the person you are connecting to have a genuine copy of the game. Tampering with WWP's copy protection can lead to the inability to join or host games.

It does have it, indeed. I have written a detailed guide (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showpost.php?p=481067&postcount=4) to making/using a WWP ISO from the European CD (which is the one I own) using DoISO and Daemon Tools.

Umm...I got wwp cd aswell...europe version, same one you have I assume.
I made image from it earlier so I wouldnt need cd, this is what I did : Install alcohol, press create Image, placed cd inside, waited few mins and it was ready. And it even worked so I dont see point in your guide

Either Alcohol 120% didn't make an exact copy of the CD image or you have a CD drive which "doesn't care" about WWP's type of copy protection. I have an older drive which can't read or write DVDs, even. I suppose my guide is for people with worse CD drives.

alcohol, as far as I remember has good copy protection emulation for many of the more basic copy protection techniques, WWP's included.

But in that time, I used old pc drive, which indeed did not read DvD files, it was baad drive. Still i were able to do what I did do.

alcohol also has awesome protection emulation for new forms of protection.
