Isn't there some program where you can make your own voice sets?

If so, someone please link me!

You might want to check out the speechbank editor that comes with the game (..\User\BankEditor.exe).

You probably need an audio editing tool for recording & cutting purposes too.
Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) is free and good.

Make sure you save with the correct settings:
16bit
1 channel (mono)
22kHz
PCM
*.wav

Wow.
That'll surely help a lot.

Well, I use adobe audition but you may have to find a free program that can edit wav's, trim them, change pitch.

Making one with your own voice you are going to need a soundcard capable of recording from an input like microphone. You will need knowledge of windows mixer settings and then you will need to actual record what you want and do all the editing.

It sounds daunting but with a bit of knowledge and messin about you can do it. I don't know of any freeware programs though that can change pitch etc.

:( But they are the basics when making a human soundbank

Worms armageddon comes with a soundbank editor, you just add your samples (using SET) and the name of the bank (using save as), worms will add them to a custom folder and then you may select that bank inside the game.

P.S. didnt see Bonz post but hell now you have my full say anyway lol

Also bonz, does it have to be them settings? Or is it just what your soundcard supports. I have samples in stereo and at 44100 and they work fine. Not that this matters with voice of course, you would get more than adequate results with the settings you specify:)

I have just listed the settings of the standard speechbanks that come with the game. These should definitely work with the game.

I remember that Worms 2 used 11k and 22k Hz sample rates, so I guess the engine can support all of them.
My Audigy 2 ZS does support them btw.

IS there anyway faster than to set each individual voice speech thing per action? No way will I "set" each worm noise to each new worm noise form the sound bank editor

Technically, you just need to name the files correctly. Look at other soundbanks to see what the files should be named.

Note: on most CDs, there are some typos in file names, causing some sounds from some soundbanks to be replaced by the default ones. The next version will take account of most of these typos.

It isn't that difficult, I did it in less than a few hours including editing and recording and could have prob done it quicker if you account for rests and ****in about...

The FFX one has been on hold for ages and didn't tae long to add the samples I have. :D
