Yes, there are router issues and Directx issues and all that jazz.

Yes, there has been a problem with people connecting to multiple users for a long time now.

So here's what happens with W2.

Player A, Player B, and Player C play. All players connect.

Player A and Player B then want to play Player D. If player D hosts, A can't connect to B. If player B hosts, A can't connect to D. And of course, if A hosts, B can't connect to D.

Where is the problem coming from, since it worked with player C.

Player B and Player D have played with others and connected fine as well.

It's all confusing. This could help revive W2 a tad more. Team17, please update your game!

Ne1 wanna take a crack on this? rofl. (Player A, B, and D have been trying to figure it out forever now.)

Also, how come some players disconnect in a multiple player match when a Patsy's bullet, or homing weapon is used?

the problem is entirely related to routers and firewalls -.-' if all have there router and firewall setup correctly then theres 0 connection/hosting problems even with multiple people...

in worms 2 everyone with routers must port forward... in worms armageddon only the host needs to port forward.

I can tell you I've had 4-player games on W2 in the past year. Don't have a router, though.

As for the homing weapons, I can imagine the scheme [weapon settings, in particular] could be at fault. Perhaps not everyone you're trying to play with has the same unofficial patch [or settings inside it] applied.

these files are fully netplay compliant and contain all appropriate unoffical patches made by des... and should work a'ok with people only using official latest version.
