the attached program allows you to inject your internet IP address into the game.

edit: standard compression format used now :P

What compression method was used on IP_Changer.exe? [My] 7-Zip can't decompress it. Would it work with WinZip or WinRar?

Ark reports compression method as Unk:098.

Unknown means it can't extract it either, altho it gathered file info.

It must be WinZip's new private compression algorithms. I never saw a point in using them, since 7zip still beats it - and since it's a closed technology, it loses to ZIP's great wide-spread support. I doubt anyone is going to switch to a shareware program just to be able to decompress some archives.

edited my post with a version compatable with most decompressors.

open it and worms 2 then in the IP_changer.exe program choose what version you have and enter your IP address into the top box and then hit set.... now if you look at your IP address in the game it should show it correctly.

also note that you will have to do this every time you start worms 2.... here is a bat file for you.... just place it in your worms 2 directory and change all your worms 2 shortcuts to point to it..... then each time you run the game... both worms 2 and ip_changer get run at the same time.

do what i already said :) and just change the IP in the second program that will pop up when ever you run worms 2 so long as you did what i said above.

to find your new IP address go to whatismyip.org or similar place.
