I suppose they are, in a strange sort of way. They must be feeling awfully neglected with all that rust though.

Or prehaps they're simply a different type of cart? There must be hundreds of types.

Sorry, we're on break.

*pheeeeeep*

Righto, breaktime's over.

So, what's your favourite type of steam loco? I'm a fan of mixed traffic tank engines myself, although I'm torn between the 2-6-4Ts and the 2-6-2Ts...

Someone once said "If you can't beat them... join 'em"

So, Paul, why can't you choose between the two? What;s the major differrence that could tip towards one or the other?

I like the 2-6-4Ts better, but I actually prefer the 0-6-0Ts.

I like the 2-6-4Ts better, but I actually prefer the 0-6-0Ts.That's a good point, I suppose, but I was thinking more from a "Stanier to the Standards" period.

If we're talking older than that, then the 0-4-0STs rule all...

So, Paul, why can't you choose between the two? What;s the major differrence that could tip towards one or the other?Well, the 2-6-2Ts are cuter, but the 2-6-4Ts feel more powerful.

All steam powered locomotives... Well, the 0-4-0STs are cuter than the 0-6-0Ts but I like the 0-6-0Ts better, I'm not sure why.
