What the heck?
W:A and WWP are going to be merged?
That's the most amazing thing in the universe!

Could someone explain me how will it work? Merge in a new, stand-alone game? Patch? Or will it be W:A with WWP thingies - and viceversa?

Yay! Greetings!

All the good things in WA will be added to WWP, and all the good things in WWP will be added to WA. Essentially, they'll be pretty much the same game, with all the benefits in both games.

Actually, WWP players will be able to use their CD to play the patched W:A.

Hola :D

Here (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=27160).
Also on various threads on the W:A forums.

QUESTION EDIT: I've read the topic I linked here, and it says that there will be an appart version of W:A for WWP users. Will it be W:A essentially or it is a limited version? It's free?

I rather a total merge, an stand-alone game, that can be played with both W:A and WWP CDs. That would be 73|-| !_337 |-|07|\|355!!!!!11!1!! How about... Worms Armaggedon Party? Worms World Armaggedon? Worms Unlimited? Worms World Armaggedon Party? Worms: Open Armaggedon? W: Party Armaggedon Warfare? (LOL that's a lot of titles)

Greetings

My understanding is that most of the game will be the same whether you're using the WA or WWP cd. Most of the "new" features in WWP are actually in WA in some form but not currently accessible. They will be accessible in WA 4.0. Super Rope and "team coloured mines" are missing from the WA engine so I don't know if they'll be there. Also, content (which isn't quite the same thing as game features) will probably only be accessible if it's on a cd you have. If you use the WWP cd, your missions will be the WWP missions. If you use a WA cd, they will be the WA missions.

Wow!
WA 4 sounds really good :)
I think that WA can be supplemented with things that WWP have but/and bugfixes and things like that. But sure, is my opinion, and I can't do that myself, so let's see what happenz :P

I think Deadcode has once told me that he intends to support WWP's mission format, along with a new mission editor.
That way I'd think that both W:A's and WWP's mission are playable with any of the game CD's.

Maybe, but if you don't have a WA cd then you don't have the files for the WA missions. Unless they were included in the update, but I can't see a reason to do that.

They could be added as a downloadable goody on a Team17 site.

Or just get incorporated in the patch. All the other stuff from WWP will be available then too.
Besides, all the color maps from WWP have already been spreaded on sites like wmdb.org.

Deadcode once mentioned that he intends to make the landscape styles customizable, which would allow to import the two styles "Dinos" and "Domestic" from the WWP.

Boggy B Thornton would be a far cleverer pun.

Thanks for the help!
