What a disappointment. There's got to be something less humane.

Now we just need to try George Bush for crimes agains humanity to get him out of the way too.

Hanging someone does seem very old fashioned though.

Hmmm I was kinda thinking they should put him through what he would make all his other victoms go through, never really knowing when he would die.

That, actually, is what I had in mind. It seems like the only fitting way for him to go. He's had it coming for quite some time.

How about hanging, drawing and quartering (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanging%2C_drawing_and_quartering), if a simple hanging doesn't meet your expectations?

I'd rather not see hanging used in this day and age when we have the technology to be better than that.

But if you want less humane, I suggest death by ants or crucifixion. Or a combination of the two. :D

What if he is hung by a rope made of TCP cables?

How about they get all the children in Iraq to hit him with those raceing tracks from hotwheels. Now that would suck.

Oh, right, all the children are in the war. Nevermind.

They should feed him cheeseburgers until his heart stops. Death the American way!

Well, the sentence is "to be hanged until he is dead", so you could replace the word "hanged" with almost any verb you like. "Hung" would be my preference, just to confuse ignorant people.

For once in his life, Saddam will be thought of by the ladies as well hanged.

"Hanged until dead" does actually mean something, and is different to a normal hanging.

A normal hanging breaks your neck instantly.

"Hanging until death" chokes you, and is thus nastier.

Frankly, I'm not sure why they're killing him, but that's probably me being a pinko lefty liberal.

Best idea so far :D

Then throw a couple of shoes at him.

I think the official reason is "because he ordered the arbitrary deaths of 147 people after someone they vaguely affiliated with tried to kill him, just to remind everone who was boss". I'm paraphrasing, obviously, but I understand that was the jist.

And, "pinko"?

And, "pinko"?

I think he either means gay or breast cancer.

Gah. You people. Loving death so much.

But pay no attention to ol' feels-pity-for-the-terrorists-Pigbuster over here. :p

"Pinko" is a derogatory term for people who lean to the left. So called because they're partially red.

I guess that train of thought works. :p
I think into the "people don't come in shades of good and evil" thing a lot.

Also, I've heard of Pinko, but never knew what it was. Thank you.

That's not exactly a law though, is it.

That's not exactly a law though, is it.
No, but an international medical convention. If you'd defy it, severe problems could arise.

On the other hand, political terms of "left" and "right" did come from the location those parties were sitting in the parliament. I'd guess that it is relative to the one behind the lectern.

The Sunni Muslims in Iraq... the ones who suicide bomb american tanks.

Seriously. Who actually liked Saddam? The basic reason he stayed in power for so long is that nobody liked him, but they didn't dislike him enough to get rid of him and he was better than the other side's preferred candidate for election.

Possibly Saddam was a Terry Pratchett fan? :p
