I installed the game. All the menus and interfaces were working, I could change options, etc. Then when I tried to actually start a game it would just crash, everytime. Anyone know what the problem is?

If when you start a game and it finishes loading, does it then go black and you have to ctrl-alt-del out? If so then you need to patch to at least 3.0.5.

Install ONLY the latest Patch from HERE (ftp://ftp.team17.com/pub/t17/patches/pc/WA_Update-3.6.26.5_Beta.exe).

This should make Worms Armageddon work correcty. Also, it is recommended to right click your WA shortcut and press Properties, and then in the Compatability Tab, tick "Disable Virtual Themes".

Now it tells me, before I load the game, that I need to instert a CD-ROM in the drive.

did you download the game from a trymedia website? if yes then sorry you already have the latest trymedia version... you need to buy a CD-ROM version to be able to use the latest update for the game.
