Erm, I might be missing something here but on page 66 appears to be a lady in uderwear rubbing compost into herself. Below it is a caption about the GameCube's launch titles.

I must ask: wtf!?

Is she an amputee? It looks like the compost is for growing her arm back. Ah, technology.

No, she has here arm stretched out, pointing right at the camera, with the palm of her hand facing down and the fingers spread.

Ah, I see. She must be trying to grow arm hair or muscles or something then.

I have absolutely no idea but this proves that their editing quality has gone downhill.

It weren't like this when I were a lad, I tell thee. Or 18 months ago, for that matter.

If this screw-up happens to be an accident and not a conscious decision, I think it would have to do with the fact that she has a glass wall or case around her. It's probably square, so the file name would have been called "cube" something..

Still, it requires an great amount of not-paying-atention..

Looks to me like one of the writers messed with someone elses' article as a prank and no one picked up on it till it was too late.

Another question, why is it talking about Gamecube launch titles in a magazine released this month?
Unless they like being an entire console generation behind.

Isn't there suposed to be an editor or someone that checks everything's okay right before it's printed? And isn't there suposed to be someone who checks after a first set is printed to make sure everything's fine?

KamikazeBananze

Pigbuster: I wondered about that as well...

As for if it's a prank, I'd say yes. Don't know why, though.

What with all the new consoles launching I presume they were running a retrospective article about previous console launches.

Correct.

One of my friends has the theory that it was a work experience kid who did it for a laugh or something.

Maybe someday it'll become a collectors item and sell for a million dollars.
Much like Beanie Babies.
