Not that any of you care or know who I am, I'm finally leaving this forum only to come once if I hear Team 17 is doing somthing.... No this is not the attention Its just really useless to come here, I mean Team 17 Forums is mainly over runned by the New People(I'm Being Polite), Most of the Veterans are probably doing somthing in their life or in another forum that no one completly knows about...
Eh I'm babbling anywho, I just like to Say that I hope that anyone annoyed at me or mad at me for somthing I have said or done, Just Like to Say Sorry.
I also Like to Say I'm glad that I found this community otherwise I wouldn't be that cartoonist I am today...
Thanks Alot All of Those Who Know Me and Helped Me, May we see each other sometime or another...

The veterans are doing something diffrent?

Uh, as far as I can see, Aku visits alot, and Vader, and Plasma, and Kelster, and all the other guys and gals who are veterans.

Oh and by the way, Lemmings PS2 came out yesterday. That's something Team17 did.

Barring Vader, your list is oh so wrong.

Paul.Power, Zero72, Philby, MadEwokHeard, etc. those are the veterans of the forums. Plasma and Kelster are still fairly new around here to my knowledge.

Didn't you already say you were leaving before?

Well, it depends on what you consider 'veteran'.
If it's how long you've been on this forum, then only Vader would be a veteran in that list.
If it's by experience(posts) then Aku wins hands down; and Kelster is the only one that shouldn't be on that list.

Haha! Your list is so completely wrong. You're completely ignorant on veterency and elitism.

Still wrong.

Is this before or after you realise that Aku is the top poster in this forum?

The number of posts a person has is no measure of real experience. Large quanitites of posts isn't what makes someone a veteren.

Ya, but that's why I added that "(posts)" in brackets.

I have no idea why I'm arguing over this.

Plasma and Kelster ain't veterans. I've been here over 2 years, and I'm not a veteran. The people who were here at the start, for the 'golden years' (that's a phrase nobody's said in a while) are the veterans.

Goodbye, anyhow.

Large quanitites of posts isn't what makes someone a veteren.yes, but you missed what he said. he said I would be the top veteran IF (this makes it a hypothetical) experience in a forum is based on number of posts. he didn't say it was, just that if it was I'd be the big kahuna or something.

Plasma and Kelster, veterans... UGH. *bonks head against wall*

I guess we can sort of count Aku as a veteran. Let's call him a 2nd generation veteran or something. :p

If I recall, you fall in a pretty similar range to Philby, Traxada (ugh), Huntakilla, and so-on. Slick might also have shown up around this time -- I don't honestly remember him for sure. But yeah, you've certainly been around for long enough. Seems like quite a while indeed, now that I think of it.

When I think of this forum's true veterans, as grossly elitist as, I'll admit, it is, first and foremost I think of the group of 8 that were once granted unique 100x100 avatars (a fiercely debated subject at the time, long before they became the standard) and a custom status. (Christ, Zero, tighten up the words valve a bit.) Those were Squirminator2K, Worm Mad, Paul.Power, SupSuper, Star Worms, Andrew Taylor, thomasp, and myself, I believe. Although I was voted into that group by the popular demands of my peers, and showed up a pretty considerable time after most of the others. I guess I probably have my distinction as one of the first to upload fan art to thank for that.

Heh, those were the days. I started out as such an idiot. Now I'm... err, a slightly smarter idiot.

Thing is, I think Munkee actually beat me to uploading Worms fan-art, but not by very long if he did. I know for a fact that he joined a little bit before, but I was always a more active member, and it might also be worth noting that his art was dramatically different from the canon Worms style actually used in the games, unlike mine.

Vader also definitely deserves a mention. So does MadEwokHerd, methinks. Other than that... Truth be told, names elude me. Hardly any of the older guys are active anymore.

Zero, you ask, perplexedly. Why the hell did you actually sit down and vomit all this stuff onto your keyboard?

This forum still holds more than a few memories for me, that's why. I plan on hanging onto them.

Edit: By the way, sleep deprivation does this crap to me. I should probably go to bed.

Regarding veteran-ness, it's hard to classify it exactly, but to be fair "golden age" is a misnomer. Maybe a golden age for the Team 17 Forums, but for the Worms Community as a whole, "silver age" would be more appropriate. A lot of T17F vets, myself included, weren't around for the true golden age (i.e. before the WormNet Ranking System failed). Well, I guess I was around in the sense that I bought Worms 2, and I was playing Worms during that period, but I was not active in the online community because buying WA would have required a graphics card, something my PC of the time did not posess (I was also rather reluctant to download and install the W2 patch, which rather hampered my online Worming as you can imagine)

SupSuper

...lots 'a' stuff...If I ever get bored, I'll be sure to split the forum into generations for you. ;)

Also, there never was much Fan Art at first because, before Team17 decided to create the Fan Art forum, this forum didn't attract a lot of artists, most were just players. Plus if you were an artist, you had to either subject yourself to the attachment limits or get a host to put them on since things like ImageShack, PhotoBucket, deviantArt, etc. either didn't exist or weren't very popular. Offhand, I'd say you're 1st or 2nd generation, Aku is 3rd, people like HK that came in when the Fan Art forum popped up are like 4th or 5th generation.

And yes, you were, and still are, one of the few people that derive your style off of the 2nd Worms generation. Most derive it off the 3rd or just make up their own crazy one. :p

Well, I've made 600+ posts, 75% (more, possibly) of them being useless spam. I've been watched for about 3 months, and revived two threads, one of them being locked. So being a veteran means your experience in the forum, IMO. Although, I made a considerable amount of appearences in Aku's comics, all are to reflect my n00bish days. *Aku says "Don't you mean PRESENT days?"*
Meh, utterly long post, so goodbye Johnny, for now. :p
