does it help hackers when games can be Minimized ?

Why would it?

You need to at least provide a hypothesis as to why your two seemingly unconnected subjects have anything to do with each other, otherwise you're just gonna get people giving you funny looks.

when people use programs to find memory values in the games while the games are running does this help them in finding ways to make cheats, or make it quicker to find the memory areas they need to add to the hacks they are making say in worms or a game like half life 2.

Edit: Dunno but i hear it effects the tides.

i dont see why, if you couldnt minimise then you could just have it log the data anyway and look later.

It shouldn't affect performance of RAM hacking software much if at all, although if they can't minimise it certainly makes it harder for them to use the RAM hacking software in the first place.

Not if:
1) you have 2 monitors (depends on the game)
2) you have 2 computers, and can log in remotely
3) you can run the game inside a virtual machine

Essentually, if you want to hack it that badly then you will be able to minimised or not - if there capable enough it wont make any difference.

This was a silly question. And the answer is quite simply no.

Oh well it helps pass the time ...ho hum what now..
Time to think up a few more stupid question and i hope you can give a more silly responce than the one you just gave, though that did qualify its not up to the standards im used to, but keep trying.. now away with you sunny.

I hope you dont mind me going off topic for this one but i feel i have the attention of the right people CyberShdw M3ntal Plutonic.

Does it take more memory to run translusant walls in a gamelike half life 2 dod source, would a program be able to detect how much memory a person is using on a server other than the default setup.
Excuse my stupidity on the subject but i know nothing of these things you call computers.

if you have a translucent wall then the game has to process both the wall texture as well as continuing to process everything behind it. So it definatly uses more resources. As for more RAM? maybe, it will use more GPU RAM holding the textures through the wall but as for everything else not sure.

Detecting that from the server? Not a hope, not directly anyway. It may be possible for the game to detect it and send the info to the server, but if someone can hack a game to make walls transparent then they can hack the game to falsify the data.

One thing a game server could do to prevent that is only tell the clients about things they should be able to see anyway. If the protocol is set up that way. And if it's not too much work for the server.

You would still be able to see through walls, but you wouldn't see people if they're on the other side.

Would cost a lot for the server to compute who sees what.

They should make some maps with clear glass walls and only rotate them on some servers then that would give no one that advantage.
then again the glowing models help the cheaters.
