Hello!

If anyone has an explenation of why I cannot host even after I tried everything on Nanacide, I would be highly happy, and surely give you a thank you.

Here's what I know:

1) Not my firewall. (On dialup, it worked fine, AND I've tried with my firewall turned off)

2) Not my router. (I've tried with and without router, with ports forwarded, No go)

3) I've entered my ip adress in my network settings, and static ip'ed it. I even have tried to use dyndns for it, still nothing.

I don't believe I NEEEED a static IP, if I use dyndns, or change it my network settings in W:A accordingly yeah?

Thanks for any info >.<.

Have you put your DynDNS address in the IP box in network configuration and checked the "Force IP" option, Mopster? That's all I can think of.

And yeh, you need a static IP in order to host. I know www.No-IP.com uses a so called "Dynamic Update Client", which is basically a small program that keeps checking what your dynamic IP is and updates your MoP.no-ip.com address to correspond to it. Works like a charm.

The IP you have to enter in WA configuration is your external one (The one given by http://wormnet2.team17.com/wwpnet/WelcomeLoginForm.php ).

Without the parenthesis at the end of course.

That surely was worth some editing.

Thankies, Thankies, but nothing seems to work... Perhaps I doomed not to host forever? :O

Have you tried WormNAT (http://worms.thecybershadow.net/wormkit/)? (Which is now a part of WormKit).
