Ok... I installed the patch, put my outward IP address in the My I.P. Address bar, put the proxy port as 17011! What else do I have to do?

you dont adjust the proxy port to 17011... your meant to forward that port within your router software.

alright - I too am on a laptop, and i have configured W:A in every configuration possible. I cannot connect to WormNet on my laptop, while I can on my PC (one router is shared, has integrated wireless and land-line capabilities).

Mine times out and gives me a fatal error on my Laptop - but runs fine on my PC, which doesn't even have the port forwarding permissions. :confused:

unless you have a proxy, don't use proxy
configure your firewall(s) to let wwp connect to wormnet
otherwise configure port 17011 to work
