Despite Trippenz' obvious grammar and spelling issues, he may actually be good at reverse-engineering. There are many good reversers who pay little attention to their grammar and spelling because it is irrelevant to their product, I'd say. The same goes for his website-design skills. He may have decided to skip learning HTML because it is irrelevant to what he wanted to do: reverse-engineer and, ultimately, improve WA.

At least, I hope this is the case. I might be completely wrong, though.

1: Cybershadow did prove that Tippenz hasn't a public history in reverse engineering, and it hasn't been debunked.
2: I want to change WA so that you can have it in 3D, it's able to detect your room and play on it as a map, they'll be 2500 weapons in the game, and it whitens your teeth while you sleep. No, this version installs via sattelite directly to your motherboard. All the files are etherially summoned from there into your monitor, where they are processed by termites wearing lab coats. They also have large beards.

In summary, no inital purchase of WA is necessary but you will either have to buy the special monitor or fill your current monitor with termites who wear lab coats and have giant beards. These can be created using match heads and Tippex.

My comment wasn't meant as nasty in the slightest, that's why i was wondering why you attacked me for it. I was laughing at this whole thread and the controversy it has started.

Personally, i think it's all a hoax, and respect to him for making it a successful one. If he's actually telling the truth, respect to him for doing it, but some of the changes he's said he'll do would require re-coding large parts of the game engine, and without the original source code that's akin to building a jet engine out of popsicle sticks, hence my belief that it is a hoax.

The file's has been manually increased by adding about 250kb of (mostly) zeroes, and the resources were edited to make it look like he was the one who actually made it. So, once again, mr. Phillis is trying to steal Deadcode's credit.

Do not beleive him. 0's in code mean null. Null means that nothing occupies that space, so basically it means absolutely nothing. He just wanted to change the file size to look better.

I acknowledge that he tried to use all of his skills to impress the public. He has stated, and not once, that he is trying to do something good for the W:A community. Whether that is his true intention or not, his skills and efforts are by far insufficient. He has lied a few times, even trying to give off intentionally faked material as his own work.

While we did talk, my opinion about him did not shift by a lot - except that he is serious about trying to reach his goal, and that he didn't understand some basic principles of how the game works - for example, I had to explain to him that a new WormNET server won't help him with his timeout problem, since the game protocol is peer-to-peer.

I understand that he has found people (supposedly from the CORE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Challenge_of_Reverse_Engineering) team) who will be working together on his mod. I have nothing against that, and if he is serious about getting serious, all the better for all of us then. That was just a continuation of my previous post in here (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showpost.php?p=533083&postcount=101) and was of course meant as a joke. A metaphorical one. :)

Though I actually have more faith that people like Deadcode and Cyber Shadow finish something, because they have the source code, which they got because they have showed their skill before.
