The other day I remembered something which I found before, but forgot.

When an application steals W:A's palette, W:A logs the application to a file named palette.log, which is located in your W:A folder.

Check that file and see if it helps you find which application is causing this mischief.

Hmm, I seem to have the same problem with WWP...

I have Worms Armageddon and Worms World Party. In both games, after a while when I'm playing death match, my screen goes a funny colour and then when i minimize it and play it again the screen goes normal again. Why? Please tell me!

Anyway, I'm not sure why it happens. I think it's something to do with application stealing focus (in other words, background application jumping to the foreground briefly).

Make sure you disable anything which can steal focus, such as msn, Norton, basically anything with pop-up windows and the likes.

As you say, when it happens it can be fixed by minimising and maximising the game.

I realise the answers have already been given, but I figured an on-topic collation of information was in order to keep the thread on track.
