hello, i would like someone could help me in this problem: I get connect Wormnet but when i try to join some channel (ag or another)nothing happen, just names of players that are down dissapear and i never join, i just can click exit to back. This thing happened to me some time ago in another computer, but in that caso if i exit-retry, exit retry, exit-retry 9 o 10 times, finally i could join. But this time i never can :(

if it helps i have to say that its a temporal connexion i have by wireless to a Thomson router.

i play wa since a lot of time and its first time i have this problem, so i think its due to router. i opened all posible ports 17011, 6667, 80, excepcions in firewall for wa, set external ip and all the possible, changed a lot options of router, etc etc etc, but nothing works...

correction, you must forward thos ports in the router itself.

forward to my local ip from router u mean?, yes, i did it...

did you allow the same ports in your firewall? (allow for all programs as i think this uses parts of direct x and as such making it exe specific might not work.)

well, now i have my old router again, and what happen is same than last year: i can join channel just sometimes, if i join and i exit, after i cant join and i have to exit wormnet and change my nick(and not always work) or wait several minutes, if not wormnet say to me: mi nick already is used, its like if just one piece of me join it :eek:

i added ports in windows firewall too, and nothing changed... btw 80 and 6667 tcp and udp or just tcp?? I did it all coz i wanstn sure.

Oso, scan your computer for viruses and all sorts of malware. I believe there was a trojan someone was infecting people on WormNet with at one point that did similar things to what you're describing.

If that doesn't help, you might find actually paying for your internet connection might fix it.

but same thing happen with 3 diferent computers and one of them(the mine, with which same thing happened when it was here) is now in my another house (in another town) using a modem (not a router) and i dont have any problem to join, and this pc is as was before, even more dirty if its possible (talking about trojan and virus). ill go friday to that place but, the problem is that in october, ill bring my computer again to this home and ill use this router all year :( , that s cause i would like to fix the problem :(

ill try to clean...but it seems problem of router...there are several proofs
