in mission 1 where im supposed to protect a crate or something i grab the crate but nothing happens i just keep getting new ones am i doing it wrong??? there are no mines or other worms??

You have an illegitimate copy of WA with (an) edited mission script(s). I suggest you get your hands on a legitimate copy of WA from the Team17 Secure Shop. It's really cheap. :)
