What exactly are sigworms? I've seen people talk about them but i don't have no idea what they are. At first i thought they were worms that people put in their signature but i haven't seen any pics of worms in people's signatures.

Close. Sigworms are worms that are supposed to represent forum members in pictures and comics. You can choose your own, but try not to make it too complicated or powerful. It's best to see what other sigworms look like before trying to make your own.

In other words, it's really a Personal Worm.

The word "signature" is used as an adjective here. A synonym would be "distinctive".

a sigworm is basically a worm like on Worms 4: Mayhem. it's a worm who wears different clothes and such of various sorts that make the worm more like the poster. the worm doesn't have to be anything like you in reality, it's just meant to represent you and should, therefore, have qualities that reflect your own on some level. for instance, splapp's worm has a knife in his head and is a raving lunatic. in reality, I'm sure splapp doesn't have a knife in his head, and he's not CLINICALLY insane (major stress on clinically), but the worm still reflects his wacky/crazy personality.

btw, no matter what you do, your sig's personality will reflect your own in comics anyway, so make something that resembles yourself. exaggeration is fine, but it's gotta start with you.

Also, I don't think there should be restrictions on sigworms. Take mine, he's as good as invincible, he eats brains and he revives the dead to fight for him.

Hellstrike, your sigworm can be anything you like. Obviously if you make a rubbish sigworm it will be rubbish but that's not necessarily down to its personality traits and powers!

Hmm... good point...

quite a few of us are overpowered, but it's not what abilities you give the sig, seeing as they're just used in comics, it's how the abilities add to the personality. vader is a perfect example. the whole eating brains thing puts him into comics (well used to) fairly often. not like the sigs are real or anything, so what we say they can do means nothing except for how the comic makers use it. besides, it would only matter if someone drew us all fighting or something, and the wrestling matches a while back were good examples of how anyone can win in some way or another if the comic maker is creative :p
