Its making my game laggy and already have 3000+ screenshots in my /User/Capture folder.

you can make screenshots by pressing the pause/break key. check if an application remapped your keys.

yes sure. my worms makes screenshots automatically when i press the pause/break key. and yours when you press space. it´s not w:a´s fault but some application or your os is going crazy. what operation system do you use? is it free of malware?

I run WinXP Home. Maybe it's my keyboard. It's a Defender keyboard with some strange buttons like Calculator, Copy, Paste, etc...

I have no drivers installed for it, whatsoever.

EDIT: I also have foobar2000 running in the background without toaster or prettypopup and I have multimedia mouse.

borrow a keyboard from a friend and check if the same things happen.
if not it´s your keyboard. if yes it´s the fault of third party software.

I borrowed one from my drawer. It is a normal, stained with strange uh.. stains keyboard. And it doesn´t make any screenshots.

The good thing is, that my problem is solved...

You can install the latest driver for your 'keyboard which is already clean' and check the remapping options.

The mad spammer character is right, though, you have to stop misinforming people. It's the Pause/Break key that makes screenshots in the updated version of WA.

since english is not my mother tounge and my keyboard isn´t an english one too, i don´t know what this key is called in english.
a reply in which you pointed this out would have been more useful.
it´s irrelevant if it is the pause/break, the printscreen key or whatever you want to call it. just wanted to say, that it is a different key than space. and he finally got his problem solved.

KRD's mother tongue also isn't english, and he also doesn't have an English keyboard. He was proibably just pointing it out for anyone else reading the thread, as the printscreen key is a seperate key to the pause/break one. I doubt he meant any offence ;).

In German they're called "Druck/S-Abf", "Rollen" and "Pause/Untbr".

There is missing a red circle around the key. ;)

Also missing is the kitten and rocket launcher too :)
