I think it was with the update to the vB forum. The purple theme was also removed because it was no longer compatible with the newer version. So the statuses were lost before we got the Spring/Summer/Autumn/Winter forum theme.

I miss my game junkie status :(

Nope, Sel ditched all statuses to remove "Elitism" and all that. Mod/admin statuses remained though.
