I think they should release a patch for Worms United, I found my old CD the other day and it won't run... yes I've red the thread about running it on XP but still... no music.

BTW if anyone has the original main menu theme from Worms I'd like to have it^^ I only have fan-made.

More T17 game music than you can handle:

But that site has no Worms United, Worms Reinforcements, Worms Blast, Worms Forts, Worms 4, or Worms: Open Warfare music

*SIGH*
Reinforcements was an extension pack for the orgiginal Worms and United combined them both, thus all of them use the original CD audio music from the original Worms CD.
Furthermore, the music of the director's cut is also essentially the same.

You can get some music samples for the other games on the respective game sites:
http://worms.team17.com
http://www.wormsmayhem.com
http://www.wormsopenwarfare.com

Downloading the respective demos will give you some music too I guess.

Ah, but the Worms United theme music wasn't on the original Worms disk.

What he means is that, the original Worms music is on Worms United.

If he meant what he said, it was poor argument, if he meant what you said he meant it was a wrong argument

The music in Worms 1 are CD audio tracks. The expansion pack Reinforcements doesn't change anything.
And United is Worms 1 already prepatched with Reinforcements.
So only the CD audio music of Worms 1 exists.

I'm sure you could get the United theme music. In fact, I'm sure I could if I still had it.

No I will not excuse you. I could send you the Worms Open Warfare theme if you like.

And if what you people are referring to as the "United theme music" is the menu music of Worms United, it's in TWSP2 (http://supremesuper.tripod.com/WormZone/Eng/Flash/WormSongPicker.html). I didn't put it on Dream17 because it's low-quality and I don't have the game installed atm to go and re-record it.

TWSP2 (http://supremesuper.tripod.com/WormZone/Eng/Flash/WormSongPicker.html)Hmm. You forgot to credit Liam Dobson (M3ntal) on the trance remix. Well, I'm not sure if it was actually him, but it sounds exactly like his amazing style, and I'd know those echoy claps anywhere. Also, I think I recall him posting that on the old SfX forum.

Just type D: or C: to switch to the respective drive, or a filename to run it.

Ok thanks!

I found another problem... I've got it running now and I can see the intro movie... but after that it says:

Illegal command: C:\Worms\bin\black.exe.

Illegal command: C:\Worms\bin\wrms.

In my copy there is. Better make sure the game's looking in the right place, and that you installed it right. While I'm at it, make sure you mounted the cd-drive properly since WU needs the cd.
