:( I deicided to get W:A under the impression that I could both use te fiddler AND rgb colour maps, which I apparently cant use in sync thanks to the fiddelr not being compatible with the beta, and the colour maps only working on the beta.

Is there ANY way to be able to use both?!

Yes. For offline games, you can import color (bmp for example) maps from the map editor.

Just place file in user\import, and click the floppy icon to import it.

No, if you want to play .png color maps online, as 1) Fiddler doesn't support the beta updates which are needed for .png support and 2) Fiddler doesn't work online anyway.

You can do colour maps offline, as someone said, by turning the PNGs into BMP, or JPG, and putting them in \user\import , and clicking on the floppy disk ingame.

But, with 2 versions of the game installed, one that doesn't have the beta patch, and on that does, would I be able to do both Fiddler and Colour Maps ONLINE? because the version with the beta patch would support it, would it not?

Yes, then you will have all the features of the Fiddler together with all the latest benefits of the beta updates.
