Hi,
I tried installing wa, and the patch, and after much trouble, finally have got up to this point. I have read the http://www.nanacide.com/wahelp/ guide, and this problem is not explained....

I install wa from the sold out version disk. It does not appear on the desktop, or in all programs. I finally found it in program files.
I then install the patch that is with the disk and try to run wa.exe, but get the error message: "The ordinal 6929 could not be located in the dynamic link library MFC42.DLL."

its running on xp btw, and any help would be greatly appreciated.
worms 2 works fine.

*checks his mfc42.dll*

I don't have an ordinal 6929 either..

The only file I have here that uses mfc42 at all is DXMfc.dll. It doesn't import ordinal 6929.

You could try using Dependency Walker (http://www.dependencywalker.com/) to locate the dll that's trying to import ordinal 6929. Then do..something..from there.

I know! If you have an old wa.exe and a new mfc42.dll, it gives that error. Either downgrade your mfc42.dll, or upgrade your wa.exe
