When you view the page source, it's hidden between comment tags, along with the registration date. Take a look and calculate your average!

I registered in May of 2003, so it's been 39 months. 945/39 is 24.23, divided by 30 averages out to about 0.8 posts a day. I really don't post much outside OD anymore. :p

Post Count: 1,516
Difference in months: 37

1516/37=40.97
40.97/30=...

Average: 1.36 posts a day.

I had a long absence after I joined. If I didn't have that, I'm betting that my average would be a fair bit higher, seeing as I come here every day, pretty much.

It's been 969 days since 14/12/2003 with 5007 posts for me. That makes 5.17 posts per day.

Bearing in mind it doesn't count posts inside Open Discussion (or Avatar Absurdity, for that matter)

That explains why it's so low. I figured the postcount would go down when old threads would be removed.

6,364 posts

Join date: Oct 2001, so 58 months I think

109.7 posts a month on average.

So... 2,020 posts.
Join date: Agust 2002 -> 48 months

That should avarage at 42.083 posts per month.

But I remember having about that many posts like... 2 year ago. Somethins' fishy

You realise that the posts per month doesn't necessarily increase with time, yes? :p

They don't?

Well, whaddaya know.Yeah. They don't count OD ones because the Outsiders would suspect something if our post counts kept going up without apparantly posting. And Avatar Absurdity posts don't count in order to discourage spam.

So that's 5403/1481 = 3.65 posts per day = 111.04 posts per month

I've never understood why FanArt posts counted...

Because if they didn't, I wouldn't have any posts whatsoever. :p
I don't see why anything DOESN'T count. (Apart from OD. That makes sense.)
Postcounts don't encourage spam now that they've been removed.
They're mostly just for seeing how active a user is, and making certain posts not count seems silly to me.

How the heck did Akuryou13 get his 8,000+ posts then?

You do realise I was talking about my post count and not my avarage, mkay?
