I've been searching the Internet for the past hour or so trying to find a good inking tutorial for PSP7, with no luck whatsoever. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good tutorial for inking?

Ta muchly.

I can't help you with a tutorial, but I've done a bit of inking in psp7.

I could probably give you some advice.

I generaly use the bezier curve tool, a setting for the regular line tool that lets you draw pretty much any simple curve you can think of. It takes a little practice, but you can easily get a nice clean line. Example (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/25062073/).

This method doesn't give you much scope for varing line widths unfortunately.:p

Hehe artifacts. That would be my only problem with line tools, it's sometimes hard to place two ends togheter without being able to notice the blending spot.
Unless you make a single large curve, but never got around to get used to the curve line tool enough to figure out how to properly curve it the way I want.

That's why I now use the excellent pen tool in Photoshop. not only can you draw more complicated lines (with corners!) but you can fiddle about with the points as much as you like before you 'lay' down the 'ink'. It's damn handy. Damn complicated too, as you need to learn how to select and move points with ctrl, convert points to and from corners with alt and i can't remember what shift does, but I'm sure it's important also.:p

Bah. Inking on a computer.
I can't make head or tails of any of those weird pen tools.
Just get a .3 mechanical pencil and a light blue colored pencil, and you don't need none of that at all.
Yes, this post isn't very helpful. :p

A 0.7 mm works fine for me, and I don't even have one of those special col-erase blue pencils.

Colerase pencils are completely redundant for computer colouring.

If you're inking on computer there's no need to remove the blue lines, and if you've inked over them on the paper you can easily set your scanner not to pickup the blue.

It's also worth noting that red and green pencils work just as well as blue. As you can probably tell from my avatar my blue pencils are dead.
