about 80% of the time I try to access a page in BTP, I get a 403 error!

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

That is really strange, and it has never happened to me :S
It could be server problems as sometimes random things just happen, or CBwhiz messing around with things again :P

hmmm. Weird... I can only think of one possibility really

How long has it been going on for?
Are you using Google Web Accelerator? I don't know if it's even available but I have it set to give a 403 on any pages for the GWA. Reason being a number of possible issues with the GET method and some security bugs that occured in GWA.

Also does it happen for this url?
http://www.blamethepixel.com/success.txt

Since that's not parsed by php - could be a php issue I guess.

1) since that downtime you had
2) yes
3) yes

I'll disable GWA, then for BTP.
