I have successfully had Worms 4 Mayhem load and play on my machine, but now it will no longer get past the initial screen before the video studders and then I get dumped out back to my desktop. At the advice of telephone tech support, I changed video cards to an nVideo GeForce FX5200, but this did not solve my problem. Attached is my DXdiag.txt file. Can you help me?

You do a lot more to explain your problem than mopst people, that narrows it down more. Have you tried reinstalling Worms 4: Mayhem? I would say to update your drivers but they look up to date in the dxdiag file.

I think some people get those problems with a dual CPU.

I presume you have the majesco version (unless you imported the codemasters version from europe).

Yes I do have the Majesco version and yes, I did reinstall the program. Actually, I first removed the program from my computer (via control panel\add and remove programs) and then re-installed it. I also tried reducing the screen resolution using the dialog box that pops up when Worms is loading. None of this made any difference.

By the way, I don't have a dual CPU. Mine is a Pentium 4, 3 Ghz, 512 Mb DDR SDRAM.

well, if you happen to have any virtual drives, you might want to disable those through xp's control panel. Restart the PC, but leave the worms mayhem disc in the dvd drive and run the game again.
