I got a very strang porblem, i cant join anymore Games on WormNet.

I already searched the Forum, if would have been sucesecfull i wouldn't have asked here.

Back to my problem.

I am in a big Town-Network, our Admin opened up the Ports that where writen on the FAQ on wa.team17.com.

For more then a year it went well. I was able to join games, but now i cant get connected.

First of all i asked our admin weather he changed something at the ports, but he didn't. So all the Ports were still open.

So my big (or simple) question did team17 change anything at the ports?

Or could it possably be that the issue is, that we got two ADSL Internetconnections at the sametime, but one Main Router?

It would be great if someone can help me out playing online again!

Firewall on your own computer? The ports need to be open on that as well.

Check out the FAQs on www.nanacide.com/wahelp/ - also you need to have the latest Beta "upgrade" installed to play online.

My PCs Firewall has the ports open for WA open (and i have win2k running, so no winxp crappy firewall), i got the latest beta patch 3.6.26.5
Iam able to join the lobby on WormNet and any other IRC that useres prot 6667.

But iam not able to join any game the time goes by and then i get told to try another game.

So iam confused, because it was working fine for a while.

Definetly no!

I am playing WormsArmageddon since it was released and for some years online.
And yes i got the latest patch, but you would have konwn that if you had read my last post...
Btw. i am actualy in a clan.


But if someone would have kicked me, then i would have been able to join a game.

Thants the main point:
- I can get into the lobby
- but the connection time just goes by when i try to connect to a game

If you can get into the main lobby, then the ports aren't the problem. The fact that you can't join anyone's game is a problem that you have no control over - its up to the hosts to make their games joinable. They must be doing something wrong.

The only thing you can do is keep trying.

Thats what i already thougt, but i called a few clan-mates who are able to host.
We tryed playing togehter and it seemed that i was the only one who couldnt join.

Maybe my Network is the problem.

Something could be blocking port 17011 outgoing. I haven't heard of anyone doing that, but it's possible.
