Well it's been around a week now and Wormnet is still down.

Can someone please tell me if it will ever be back online? And if so, when?

Thanks

WormNET is not down. You must have something configured incorrectly.

Damn I really didn't want to hear that...

It was working fine for ages and since last week I can't connect at all. Even through supersnooper.

Anyone have any idea what it could be?

Did you change your hardware in any way?

If not, it sounds like this (http://www.nanacide.com/wahelp/wnguide-noconnect1.php) will help.

Your internal IP address can change when you restart your computer, although I'm not really sure why.

I beleive what happenes is as follows.

Your computer connect to the network via DHCP.

On restaring your computer, it sends a request to the router for the IP it has previously.

On a sucessfull request, the IP is assigned as taken and the PC connects to the old IP.

If the IP appears to be assigned, either because another PC has used it or because the router still thinks your connected it refuses the requested IP and assignes the first available address.

From now on, the PC will request this new IP on reboot.

Well it seems it had nothing to do with my IP address.
It was PeerGuardian2 that was blocking me from connecting to WormNet.

All sorted now.

Thanks anyway guys.

Seems like this is not a software to protect the user from the internet, but protect the internet from the user. ;)
