I have had worms 2 for ages and have recently bought Mayhem (for those of you who saw my other post, i bought it on Xbox because it was $20 cheaper) and is there a way to turn on blood like you could with the cheat in W2. I LOVE watching worms get blown apart in masses of gore lol

Nope. There's No 'blood' in 'Mayhem'.

Luckily, theres no blood in Worms Mayhem. I mean, what do you need blood for in Worms?

before the ranting begins, it was an issue with the third dimension. the blood just couldn't be added and still look cartoony like Team17 wanted, so instead of wasting untold amounts of time getting it right, they decided to just get rid of it, as it adds almost nothing to the actual gameplay.

If it did it would be rated to M would have to add gore its a kids game thats why.
Back then thay arnt as strit like the the 2d worms after worms 2 had blood but looked fake.
And 3d is more real and there more strit look at super smash bros melle its a Teen game.

Lol, you're a funny kid.

I'm guessing you're just a 10 year old trying to look smart but that's okay, we were all 10 trying to be smart at some point.

I'm 100% sure that if they added an optional option to turn on blood, and it was cartoony, then it wouldn't be rated M. Worms will never be rated M unless it's M for Mind-Blowing. :)

seriously, he does have a point. with the rating nazi-ism that's been going on, it really wouldn't be all THAT surprising if worms would get an M for Blood and Gore if the amount of blood on the previous games were present in 3D.

and regardless of what rating it would get, his post wasn't entirely serious, which is fairly obvious :p he was exaggerating.

edit: oh, and your point on making it optional is incorrect. if you would look around at other games that are getting rated differently and such, you'd know this already, but regardless of whether or not it's optional, hidden, or only available through a downloaded hack that someone outside of the company made, it'll still get a high rating.....as completely retarded as that is...

Blood can be added
Yes, we are all aware that you can have blood in a 3D game.
But the debate here was that blood just takes away from the game...

Lol, okay Akurya. I wasn't trying to be rude in any way if I did seem so. I just think some people are quite funny with the sort of debates they bring up :P

Pretty right about the not-looking-very-cartoony bit, at any rate.

I've never liked blood in Worms, to be frank.

If Team 17 wanted 3D worms to look more like a cartoon, then they'd use cel-shading, like in Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker and stuff.
Or maybe they're just too lazy. Seriously, cel-shading is AWESOME.

As for teh blood, I think that would be stupid. And that screenshot looked stupid, so... XD

Tweaked game. :)
There's one major flaw in your tweak. Sentry guns bleed :)

The screenshot reminded me of Conker's Bad Fur Day. Cute graphics + ultra violence.

So anyway, ehh.. what do you need to 'tweak' to get blood? I'm just curious is all...

That wpntwk has blood in it, although it may be a different file that makes blood.

If Team 17 wanted 3D worms to look more like a cartoon, then they'd use cel-shading XDThis was a subject discussed pretty frequently before W3D came out. It just really wouldn't be right for Worms.

If Team 17 wanted 3D worms to look more like a cartoonas zero said, that was a HUGE topic before W3D came out. one of the biggest hot-button issues of my younger life on the forums. in the end the non-cel-shaded argument won out for reasons I no longer remember or care about.

Like they said, blood in worms just... it just wouldn't be worms! Also, I thought worms have yellow blood? Am I wrong? Please don't flame me if I am, I don't like the smell of ashes.

Please don't flame me if I am, I don't like the smell of ashes.ok, worms had blood for many more games than they didn't have blood. blood IS worms, but it's 2D worms, not 3D. get the facts straight :p

also, as is the common argument, real worms don't have hands, eyes, bazookas, etc, etc, etc, so why make them more realistic if they were never anything like reality to begin with?

I thought worms have yellow blood
That varies.
Hemoglobin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemoglobin) (red), chlorocruorin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorocruorin) (green) and hemerythrin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemerythrin) (violet/colorless) have been found in annelids.

The common earthworm has red blood though.
