I have Windows XP, i've recently installed Worms Armageddon using the tutorial found at http://www.nanacide.com/wahelp/ Now I can actually load WA and "play". So far I can create a team, and modify the options, HOWEVER, when I try to play, things get messy. I went to the training section of the game and everything loaded fine, in fact it loded really fast, so that's cool. I'm about to be awarded my medal for passing basic training when everything froze. I tried pressing the Alt+Ctrl+Del keys and I know the computer reacted because my normal mouse appeared and at some points on the screen there is a resizing arrow, however I cannot do anything. So I press on the power switch of my computer and restart the whole thing. I uninstall the game, reinstall using the proper fixes and stuff, the game still freezes... This really sucks. Any help?

Oh, and my username is actually a cut down version of what I wanted (don't let it confuse you :P )

The only thing that comes to mind right now is see what programs you have running in the background. Either close them all or disable always-on-top options in them.

For me it happens when I have Winamp running, even if I disable always-on-top. But only in the missions, so it doesn't bother me.

After reading your post I tried that, I exited every program I had running, my taskbar only had a sound logo and the time, I tried playing a deathmatch this time, I finish the game the screen is about to change but it changes to black... I then had to reboot my computer.

I even went to the WA.exe and changed the combability to windows 98... Still doesn't work

R11. Blue Screen Of Death occurs when I finish single player games, exit WormNET or host an online game

No solution.

Try:

Restarting
Reinstalling
Reformatting

(Please contact me if any of the above solve or don't solve the problem)

Closest to your problem I can find. Sorrey.

It's not a blue screen though (XP doesn't have those (I didn't experience those yet at least ... :P ))
