I just got WWP and i just want the online play. I got on and everything but when i went to the screen where it shows everyone thats on there is nobody! Is there something wrong or is nobody playing?

Make sure you have the correct time/date setting in Windows for where you live.

There is usually somebody online all the time. ChanServ can be found in any channel 24/7. If you didn't see him, than there is definately something wrong.

EDIT: This is generally caused if port 6677/6667 is closed completely; that is, to the point that it won't let you connect to another computer.

Well, if it is the Trymedia/Trygames downloadable version, then it doesn't need to be patched.

Oh, you're right, like temporarily banning unofficial clients and those who flood multiple times quickly.

I got a temporary ban yesterday and I wasn't even using an external client. Wouldn't let me in #AG and I started clicking on the channel name like mad until the computer froze up. Which, in all honesty, didn't take too long.

Didn't know what happened at first, but I got the ban message later when logging on using another program. Didn't know you could get banned from #AG and not the other channels, though. It's been a while. ×=

Wore off in a couple hours, the ban.

I think the rule is that if you get kicked 3 times in a row, you get channel banned for 30 minutes or something. This use to always happen back in the day when ChanServ was more strict.

I remember having to play in ropersheaven on several occasions because my spammy m8 would always get himself banned.
