Hey all, I just installed a fresh copy of Worms Armageddon, and then patched it with WA_Update-3.6.26.5_Beta.exe. However, when I try to connect to WormNet entering my username "iamchris" it says "Unable to connect to the server, please try another server." What can I do to fix this? Thanks. Oh, also, I allowed internet access for WA with windows firewall, and am not running any other security measures (other than McAffee Anti-Virus). Thanks again!

Could it be a router?

To be honest i'm not sure because I've not seen that specific error before, usually it's "Fatal error, disconnecting"

Same problem here, I'm behind a router and cannot join Wormnet AT ALL. I've done everything in the router guide and now I can join and host Direct IP games perfectly fine, but Wormnet is still a no go. I've tried WormNAT as well.

Hmmm. Did you try Direct IP games before you configured your router? I'm not sure what ports they actually use.

Same ports, Run.Only one port (17011) is used for Direct IP games. Your ISP may be blocking port 80 or 6667, but I'm not sure why that would matter, since you're not hosting an HTTP server or IRC server. In fact, I really don't see why those ports need to be opened for outgoing connection at all. If you can browse the internet, you should be able to connect to the front page of the server.

I'm having a similar problem. I was in the middle of hosting a game, and my computer just froze. So i had to restart my computer (and whomever was playing thought i quit probably) And now I can't connect to wormnet at all, says some fatal error or something. Yet, i can browse the internet, talk on AIM, and everything... playing against myself is getting boring >_>
