View Full Version : Can you get a worm on top of the border?

There is a striped Indestructible border on the top of every cavern map. One day I was bored and thought, "I wonder if there's a way to get a worm on top of it."

Is it possible? If so, how?

There are multiple ways of doing so.
Someone listed them all in a post somewhere on the forum.

CL2K is for W2, W:A and WWP alike.
I do think they work the same.

I'm actually told some of those don't work for WWP. You have to stand on a worm that's on the complete edge of a map so you can barely see it and do it from there on Wee Wee Pee.

For W2, I'd say it's worth trying out. Shame there hasn't been more than 7 online default games hosted there in the past 2 years.

But yeah, that thread is a good reference point for ideas. Especially if you have WA and can take a look at the replays.

doesnt seem very practical--or fair... besides shock value it probably wouldnt be fun to use against anyone

It has in fact been disallowed [unless agreed upon prior to the game by both/all four players] in First Blood, the more competitive out of the two leagues on WA.

Shoot a rope into the roof, then lie flat across it and push out the worm a little at a time each swing until it starts to curl round.
Then put para on, and as soon as the worm starts to curl up off the screen, hit space.
Either the worm lands, or para seems to activate and you can float down on top.

Someone said there are other ways, i don't know any, but there probably are.
That's just how I did it.

That's one for knocking worms through the map with a girder.
It should be possible to reverse this is another way of getting on top of the map..
I'll try it and let you know
