The domain fullwormage.com is going to expire today. So before Byte lets it become one of those annoying search pages, does anyone have any use for it?

You know, I'd rather just put up a picture of a worm than let it become one of "those" sites. If I had the money, I'd buy it and hook it up with a NearlyFreeSpeech.net account.

He says "give me a worm and a web page and I'll put it up".

What do you plan on using it for?

Me? It's not my domain name.

There doesn't appear to be any use for it, but better it goes to some worms oldbies than those search things.

if you want somewhere to point it i can provide a page if someone provides the worm... lol

I honestly dont think i could bear to see that become a search page... some good memories there...

What happened to the fullwormage.com site then? Why not just leave it up?

[12:36:39] <Byte> because it has no-one to run it
[12:36:57] <Byte> and I'm not sure the site fully exists in a usable state anywhere

You could point it to the forum.

Or make a giant listing of links to all active web sites containing stuff about Worms.
(downloads, clans, wikipedia, cheats,...)

I just tried to find the site and I seem to have umm.. lost it
All I have left is this image: http://proxima.arlott.org/~byte/fullwormage_90x30.gif and part of a forums backup
Kard probably still has a copy somewhere though.

edit: found this saved forum thread (http://proxima.arlott.org/~byte/MyWork/The%20Full%20Wormage%20Forums%20-%20Two%20weeks%20ago%20I%20was%20in%20New%20York%2 0for%20my%20dad's%20birthday__.htm)

It went down in 2001 (I think) before never being updated to a newer version. The forums stayed up for a bit longer iirc.

I was going to do that if it was easy to let other people manage it but the link directory software I found had stupid exploitable SQL so I deleted it.

http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.fullwormage.com

I used that for the box borders, although I'm missing the grey ones used on the forums :( does anyone have these?

I have recently renewed it for 3 more years since the exchange rate is in my favour at the moment ;) and have put up a quote from ParsnipMan (http://fullwormage.com/)... there's a modified WWP 3 worms image with YK/IF/PI somewhere which I will add if I can find it.

I guess putting up links to CS's Worms Knowledge Base and Run's Nanacide wouldn't wrong.

The O in TOPMAN was Order, not league. (The idea being members of TOPMAN kept posting maniacs and nutters in order, not that they were an order of maniacs and nutters)

Well someone, I can't tell who unless I try to run ICQ and open the history files properly, said:
We need to see a notably increate in posting. after all, TOPMAN stands for "The league of POSTING MANIACS and nutters..."

I reject your description of it though:
Order | Or"der |
n. OE. ordre, F. ordre, fr. L. ordo, ordinis.
Cf. Ordain, Ordinal.
1913 Webster

9. A body of persons having some common honorary distinction
or rule of obligation;

I reject your rejection, as what I said was exactly what Thorask said when I showed him the link to www.fullwormage.com yesterday. And I think Thorask knows what he's talking about when it comes to TOPMAN. Plus, I was an admin of Wormiverse (where TOPMAN was recreated, and I was one of the main members of TOPMAN at that point). I agree that "The Order of" typically would mean an order as in a group/league, but that was not what was intended.
