Hello,

every time I wan't to use the Indian Nucleat Test, Worms Armageddon crashes immediately.
It's the same on Windows 2000(Laptop) and on Windows XP(Desktop).
I'm using the WA_Update-3.0.5.0_Beta_2 patch.

It really sucks since I can't complete Mission 19...

Thanks for any help!

try to get the pre beta3 (not made by T17, use by your own)

That wont work its something with the DirectX or Video card.

sadly it's the same with the pre-beta 3.

How can I check if something with DirectX is wrong?

I remember in an old thread along time ago... go to search on the top and look for "skunk, crash" or something like that...

Maybe.. upgrade to Dx9? It could also be your video card.

Have you tried to finish the mission by not including the beta? If there are some trouble's with Direct X 9, and the beta, I know some people had trouble with early version's of Direct X 8, but that it got fixed later on.

You could just complete the mission by using team editor that can be found here (http://www.rrkit.com/downloads.php).

But that doesn't give a very good sense of accomplishment, now does it?:p

Like Pioneer322 said, upgrade Direct X (if possible), update the video card drivers, and if that doesn't work, post your system specs.

At least on the Desktop running Windows XP I'm quite sure that the newest DirectX Version is installed.

In the meantime I accomplished the Mission, but anyhow it sucks since I can't use the Nucleat Test in Multiplayer games.

For those who have the same Problem and want to finish the mission:
get all the crates. rope near the blinking crate containing the nuclear test and blowtorch to it.
look for higher ground and try to shoot as much enemys as possible into a hole and use the holy grenade.
after some time sudden death will be activated and the water will rise. now it's quite easy.
Important: if the blinking crate gets destroyed the mission is over!

There is no DirectX when XP is installed, or in any OS. In that case, DirectX is not a part of Micro$oft?

Well, except for the fact that XP comes with DirectX 8.1.

DirectX is made by Microsoft yes.

Okay, then when I installed XP, it showed no DirectX, odd.

I have the same error.

-If I load the "Full Wormage", it crashes;
-If I change the weapons and do not save it and try to use Indian Nuclear Test, it crashes;
-If I play with a one which I created a some days ago, it works;
-If I play with a one which I created or edited today, it crashes.

I use Windows XP, DirectX 9.

reinstall your game first, apparently running the game without the beta can damage the game under winXP.
